"Our" server was at another table, and we wanted an order to go (no time to go somewhere else and we promised to bring food back to friends who could not go out), and after asking, and asking, and secretive conversations amongst the staff who were standing about talking (notice they were talking even as they knew we wanted assistance), someone finally came over to take our to go order. No one exclaimed that anything was delicious or that a return visit would be in order. My dinner companions fared about the same. It was also cold and quite hard - as in not really cooked on the grill. I was looking forward to the grilled tomato and that, too, was a letdown, as it was barely grilled. At this point, I didn't even want to try asking for dressing. It was nice that there were salad greens on the plate, though they tasted "bagged", and had no dressing, and no dressing was offered. The kabobs were on a pita which quickly became soggy and should have been served on the side. The kabobs came with rice (cold, but good, and stay away if you are GF, as it is not just rice). This is a shame, as the spices were very good. My entree of chicken shish kabob was cold. Evidently, checking on how diners are doing in not a thing at Bridge. Oh - and water refills? I almost wanted to look for the pitcher myself. I looked up at the server and said, "Seriously?" She remained disinterested and had no response. Literally, a minute later, out came our entrees. The appetizers (by definition, to be eaten before the entree) finally arrived and were good (zucchini pancake, though not quite as described on the menu) and one other. The server, in the very disinterested tone, said appetizers would be right out. A close by table, who came in after us was eating their hot entrees and that is when we said something. This was interesting since the restaurant was not at all busy. We ordered appetizers and then we waited, and waited, and waited. (This feeling lasted the entire time we were there.) who, it seemed, we were bothering by being customers. We had food questions and those were politely answered by a server. This was the first time at Bridge for our party of three - though not our first time kosher eateries. However this is no way to run a restaurant! More I will try to return with my wife after Passover and give the place another chance. We could not hear ourselves talk and the Owner's family was doing essentially the same thing with their loud conversations at the front of the facility, so no one to complain to! It all ruined our business lunch. They acted like they were in their own living room. A family member of the owner and her 7-8 year old son walk in, apparently from school, go in the kitchen walk out with their lunch, sit three tables away from us and proceed to have a laptop face time or Zoom call with another adult woman, all on speaker. Then different family members of the owner are getting personal plates of food, walking in and out of the seating area, all very unprofessional. My impression is the owners are not Jewish, but a Mashgiach shows up who walks into the kitchen and proceeds to have a very loud extended conversation with the owners in the middle of the restaurant. The atmosphere was very, very disappointing. We both agreed that some au juis on the side would have helped considerably. The meat was good, but disappointed that it got so cold. The slices are nice portions and real meat, not ground up pressed meat. By the time we got to it two minutes later (after rushing our soup) it tasted fine at first, but quickly got cold and dry. It was delivered way too fast as we had just gotten the soup. We both got the Doner kebab, which is slices of lamb and beef. The lentil soup is prepared in a different way with the lentils completely ground up. We had planned to order from the Menu we saw online, but the actual restaurant menu has lunch portions and reasonable prices. Still COVID impact, so place empty and very quiet except for one other table.
